We walked into JM kitchen in Arvada to get countertop ideas for a kitchen “refresh”. Colbea spent time explaining the process and offering both tips and insight on many details we had not considered. We hired JM Kitchen with Colbea as our designer. Colbea was wonderful, she worked with us on costs, scheduling and coordinating and of course design and picking out materials. She really listened to us during the process and pulled together some great ideas/design. JM Kitchen, Colbea & the vendors they use for fabrication, plumbing fixtures and tile were all top notch and professional. The process was smooth and Colbea was there every step. I will use them on my next project.

We had been planning to remodel our kitchen for several years, and had contacted two other kitchen design companies before we found JM Kitchen & Design. I sent a request to them through their website on a Sunday and received a call almost immediately setting up an appointment for Mike Thulson to come out and look at our kitchen. Mike was very professional and had so many great ideas that we hadn’t thought of. After we agreed on the design of the kitchen, everything went very quickly and smoothly. One of the things we were really impressed with was the help Mike gave us on the day we went out and chose the tile, cabinet hardware, and countertops. Mike helped us pick out what we wanted, and still stay within our budget. Mike and Jacque found the contractor to do the job, Scott with HOW Construction, and everything was scheduled to be done in 5 weeks. We had heard horror stories of kitchen projects dragging out for weeks more than the original schedule, so we were very happy that everything was completed right on time. Jacque was great at getting everything delivered to our home on time, and getting a few things replaced in a timely manner also.

Our contractor, Scott with HOW Construction was an extreme pleasure to have in our house doing the remodel. He single handedly renewed our faith in remodeling contractors. He was on time, or early every day, he was meticulous in his work, and every obstacle was met with confidence and speed. He also made it a point to make sure the job site (our kitchen) was clean and meticulous every day before he left. Scott is a real professional and would recommend him without hesitation. Brittany was exceptional at quizzing me on my needs. Before long, she had amazing rendering of just what I was dreaming of! Talking to her about a few things I thought were missing was actually a delightful conversation. By the next day she had all those detail integrated into the design. All I had to do was put half the money down and everything else happened like clockwork. I absolutely love my new room. I now have her working on two other projects for me. The value she provides is incredible. So happy I found this company.

From that moment on Christine, patiently, listened to our wants and needs for our very 1st kitchen remodel. The thing that separated JM Kitchens from the rest of the companies we interviewed was you. You are very knowledgeable about your product and very professional; you instill a level of confidence in the potential client that other companies couldn’t do. You listened to our requests, and when you knew we were “off base” on what we wanted, you diplomatically explained why it wouldn’t work but offered fabulous compromises. Even though our contract is signed, you are still very attentive and prompt to return emails and phone calls to answer questions. JM advertises “personal professional project management”, you epitomize that claim. The Omega cabinets are far superior to any other products we looked at, the selection is wonderful, and the price very comparable. We are very satisfied with our decision to have JM remodel our kitchen, and we feel lucky to have you involved in our project.

I just want to say that Mike Thulson did a magnificent piece of artistry with the design of our new kitchen. He has been responsive to our needs and most of all, encouraged us to go ahead with this major investment in our lives, which I must say, we were hesitant about. He has a refreshing honesty which helped guide us. This is better than a trip around the world for me because it made what I love the most, HOME, so much more enjoyable. In fact, everyone I have met through your company has offered their talents in a most helpful way.
