We feel so fortunate to have walked into J&M Kitchen & Bath and found Paul Preister to help us with our kitchen remodel project.  Paul’s years of experience really prevented us from making some costly mistakes, and every gentle caution that he gave us about certain design decisions turned out to be absolutely true….of course!  It can also be nerve wracking to order things like cabinets based upon small samples only, with no real idea about how they will look, especially if you wanted a more customized style, as we did. You wonder if you will be spending a lot of money for something that you will not like, but that is Paul’s specialty, to guide you through all of the many options and help you visualize a final result.  In fact, when I questioned a particular color and finish for a vent hood, wondering if it would go with the rest of the design, Paul reassured me that it would complement the design, and told me that he could visualize it, so we trusted that, and WOW!  The vent hood is the first thing that everyone comments upon when seeing our new kitchen for the first time.  Cabinet and appliance deliveries were handled smoothly, with Paul ensuring that all design partners worked seamlessly together with J&M. Our contractors also mentioned that they had never seen such detailed and extensive CAD drawings and instructions from any other design company, and when I mentioned this to Paul, he advised me that he creates those drawings as if he was installing things himself.  Our contractors specifically mentioned how unusually detailed and helpful they were.  That was absolutely another plus about working with Paul, he understood every little intricacy about construction and installation, as he has years of experience in both.  We would give Paul and J&M a five star rating overall, and we plan to use them again for our future bathroom remodeling project!

I would like to leave a 5-star review for JM Kitchen and Bath in Castle Rock and specifically for Paul Preister. We have remodeled both our kitchen and primary bathroom which required us to completely ‘gut’ both of these rooms and start from scratch. Paul was there to support us every step of the way for both projects. He created meticulous designs and explained them thoroughly to us. He listened to us and made adjustments as needed. Paul accompanied us to the showrooms to ensure the colors/patterns we chose would compliment each other as well as the rest of our house. He did not ‘sugar-coat’ anything and was very realistic from the start of our projects and throughout until the end. If we ever move and we need a kitchen and/or bath remodeled, Paul Preister from JM Kitchen and Bath will be the first person I call.

Alana did a fantastic job designing and coordinating our total kitchen remodel! She took our original concepts/ideas and created our dream kitchen. She helped us choose the cabinets, countertops, tile, hardware, etc. and ensured it all fit together in a cohesive, beautiful design. She ensured our general contractor, C & C Design, executed the design without any major issues. We enjoyed working with Alana and would work with her again! Thanks so much!

I couldn’t possibly be happier with our new kitchen! I love it so much! We wake up every day, walk into the great room and have to do a double take! I have been friends with our designer, Paul Preister, for years and have longed to have a kitchen designed by him and it has finally happened. Our kitchen is now not only beautiful but is so functional and a dream to work in. By taking out a wall and a closet pantry and changing and moving the shape of our island, cooking and cleanup is effortless. The attention to tiny details I mentioned in our initial consultation were all taken into account in his design. The team of professionals and companies that have been part of the process have also been second to none. Pinnacle Stone for a perfect granite countertop and install the first time, and a huge shout out to our contractor’s hand picked by Paul, Finishing Touch. They were amazing! Showed up on time every single time, cleaned up every day, fixed any issues without blaming them on me or someone else, the list goes on and on. We just love our kitchen, the only problem is now the rest of our house needs work to get up to the level of the kitchen! Looks like bathroom remodels are on the list. Thank you, Paul! We are really happy with the cabinets for our kitchen. Mike and his team do a fantastic job of patiently walking through options and look to work within their client’s budget. Just as important, they don’t just walk away after a job is completed. They continue to provide responsive service even several years after install if there are tweaks or minor repairs needed!

I think the real test of a kitchen remodel is the customer’s level of satisfaction several months after the “shine” has worn off. And I have to say that several months later, I absolutely still LOVE MY KITCHEN!! Mike and Jacque took me through every step of the process and were there to take care of the details. I really appreciated their input and guidance and also their ability to ‘tease out’ the features and characteristics I wanted in my new kitchen. We updated nearly everything – countertops, cabinets, most appliances, sinks and made updates to the powder room and family room to match the new kitchen look and feel. We also went with their recommended contractor. They started AND FINISHED on time and paid attention to every detail. I will use them again and again on my next remodel project. We were enjoying the Colorado Home Show, when we saw a kitchen display with beautiful cabinets. We stopped to admire the kitchen and were greeted with a helpful, knowledgeable response. We were so thankful to meet Paul Preister that day. He had passion, experience and knowledge on creating a beautiful kitchen and bath. As we talked and worked with Paul, he walked us through the process as he helped create our beautiful new kitchen as well as re configuring our master bath that made sense and was so pretty at the same time. From the many options, it wasn’t overwhelming as Paul learned what I liked and was able to steer me to the perfect product.
